The time for new schools has come

Our world is growing together. People of different social and cultural origins live together sharing the same social environment. On the one hand, this can mean an enrichment of one’s own culture. On the other hand, a lot of challenges are arising and need to be managed.

Children and youngsters from immigrant families have the same right for educational opportunities as other children have.

The same conditions apply to children from low-income families. It is important to foster mutual understanding and tolerance.

Such a development does not take place automatically – it has to be carefully approached by means of new ideas for school pedagogy and new teaching methods.
